Uncertain, 7th century. Seal (Lead, 15 mm, 5.57 g, 12 h). Imperial bust (Heraclius?) facing, wearing chlamys and holding globus cruciger; cross in right field. Rev. Cruciform monogram with the letters Π, N and OV and circlets in the upper fields. Unpublished in the standard references. An interesting early Byzantine seal combining an imperial portrait with a personal name. Struck on a short flan, otherwise, very fine.
